Cookie Settings
Last updated: July 8, 2026. Understanding how we store preferences to improve your tool experience.
What Stored Preferences Do We Use?
TileCalculator uses browser-based local storage and small cookie keys to record your UI layout choices. This avoids requiring you to re-input configuration details every time you reload or browse to a new calculator tool.
Stored States Include:
- Unit System: Remembers your toggle of Imperial (feet/inches) vs. Metric (meters/cm).
- Layout Grid Options: Remembers if you enabled surface centerlines, locks, or partial tile tags.
- Visualizer Colors: Remembers your selected tile grout, outline, and surface preview shading.
No Third-Party Tracker Cookies
We do not load cross-domain tracking pixels, advertising profiles, or retargeting cookie scripts. Our storage values are strictly functional, local to your browser session, and secure.
How to Clear Cookie Storage
You can clear all calculator preference cookies and local storage state values at any time using your browser's "Clear Cache / Clear Storage" panel, or by clicking "Reset" inside the form section to return parameters to system defaults.
